Format: 10 player round robin (9 rounds)

IM norm opportunities are guaranteed
Time Control: 40 moves in 90 minutes, then game in 30 minutes with 30 second increment per move from move 1.
Drawing of Lots: Friday, May 13 at 7 pm. The official pairings will be posted on the standings page by 11 pm.
Spectators
We welcome spectators during the tournament. Admission is $2 per day. Entries to the Reserve section get free entry to watch the International section. Cell phones must be turned off. If your cell phone goes off in the tournament hall, you will be asked to leave.

Closing Ceremonies: Immediately following round 9
Prize Fund:
Projected minimum guaranteed $1,750
1st: $1,000, 2nd: $500, 3rd: $250
Ottosen Prize
If at the end of the tournament the percentage of decisive games is greater or equal to 66.7% (at least 30 decisive games out of 45), David Ottosen will contribute $1,000 towards the prize fund. The Ottosen prize would be distributed as follows:
1st: $500, 2nd: $350, 3rd: $150
Note: The final tally of decisive games was 31 with 14 draws or 68.9%, therefore, the total prize fund in this event was increased to $2,750, thanks to David Ottosen. Below is the new distribution of prize money:
1st: $1,500, 2nd: $850, 3rd: $400

All others pay $250
Minimum FIDE rating required is 2100
